Monkwearmouth Academy hosted our annual 'Search for a Star' competition on Wed 19th March. The 'Fry Ups' took first place with band members Sam Machin, Jamie Foster, Zac McBride Donaldson and Oliver Harrison.

They performed two original songs and are extremely talented musicians. Second place went to Isabelle Taylor who gave a fantastic rendition of Defying Gravity. Third place Michael Hopper with his version of Autumn Leaves and Misty on piano.

A big well done to all acts who took part. The 'Fry Ups' will represent Monkwearmouth academy at Oxclose Community Academy on 10th April.
